Learn Something!

Well. It's been a week or so since my last blog and things have been busy. The band I play bass guitar in was getting ready for a big 2 night gig last weekend in Greensboro NC at the Sheraton Hotels' Club Fifth Season. What a fun place to play and watch other folks have a great time relieving stress and the day to day anxieties of life by doing some good ole dancing! Hi Five, our band, sure did have the time of our lives playing. We will be back for New Years to rock in 2009 and rock out 2008!

Music is a huge part of my life and one way that I "relieve the stress" of my everyday work environment. I started learning to play bass guitar some 22 years ago and am now having some of the best times of my "playing" career doing what I love to do.....play music, make a few dollars and make others happy by seeing them enjoy our band. You see, it's not all because of me, me , me. If I just played by myself.....or if the whole band just played and practiced together and never gigged....sure we would enjoy some playing time and fellowship...but we wouldn't know the "whole" experience. When we as a group get out there on that stage and perform to the best of our God given abilities, it opens up a whole new feeling of accomplishment and awareness. Suddenly our adrenaline gets pumping, we focus 10 x harder than in practice and if a problem jumps out at us suddenly we immediately work to resolve it. This in turn creates a great show for those who have come to hear and see us play. As we perform more and more shows and get more accustomed to the songs, it becomes more like a well oiled machine. As we learn new songs to add to the old ones, we are once again keeping the ole gears moving in the brain!

I always try to keep these blog stories similar to my everyday dream of becoming financially independent. So how does this one relate? Simple. If you are involved with a "product to consumer" business like I am, you HAVE to be there for your customers! Did you hear me? I said you HAVE to be there for your customers! Not "Maybe if I feel like it today, OR I just want to be by myself today and not worry about those phone calls." If I was wanting to play music all by myself, I can guarantee you NO ONE would come see JUST me play a bass guitar and sing. How boring! Ok...well not unless you are Victor Wooten or Baron Browne or Stuart(Stu)Ham. I am not...so there! lol!

So my words for today and now on......mingle! Be a people person! If you're not and don't feel comfortable talking a lot..at least get together with people you know who are "people" people. Getting out gets your blood going and makes you feel alive! Do it, you will see what I mean. Smile at someone for no reason! They will smile back and you will feel all warm and fuzzy! Ok..well, you get the point I hope. Just try to be more outgoing. It will change your outlook on life...even though it may seem tough. I know because I was once that way. I have changed alot over 20+ years. I use not to talk at all .. or very little. I LEARNED to be more talkative. I LEARNED to play bass guitar so I could be more lively..especially onstage! Did it come overnight? NO! Neither will your own business or financial freedom! You have to stick with it and LEARN the ropes. Don't EVER quit! No money, No problem, the internet and local Library are full of FREE resources to learn things!

I am through rambling for now. I hope you have a great weekend! Our band is playing again in Danville, VA at The Warehouse and we are going to have a super time! I can't wait! I will learn something again this weekend I am sure! :)

In the meantime, visit my website at www.howtoearnmoneyfastaneasy.com Even though I am telling you to have people skills, you can still earn money through some PASSIVE programs as well.

Also..... want a SUPER energy drink? If you buy it and don't like it, let me know and I will buy back your remaining product! YES, I believe in it THAT much!

Early Vote Saturday & Procrastination

What can I say. I waited too late to make an address change on my voter registration. You see I moved several years ago and I thought that would have been done when I had my drivers license renewed. Not so. Now that we are well within the 30 day window I was afraid I might not be able to vote in this historic election.

I opened up ole Google and did some research and found out that I could still vote if I went to a one stop "register and vote" event. Also called "Early Voting"! So I did that today. I waited in line a little over 2 hours and some of that was in a light mist of rain. I met a great group of people and we chatted the whole time while in line. Actually, after you got past the "waiting" part it was real interesting meeting and mingling with complete strangers!

What does this have to do with making money you ask?? Well, maybe nothing! lol! Sometimes I just want to come here and let you know I am a real person behind this blog page. I do get some satisfaction I guess knowing someone might be reading and interested in what I have to say.

On the OTHER hand, as I sit and type here, the message might very well have something to do with making money. It is called "procrastination". You see, I procrastinated about getting my address updated on my voter registration and I almost missed the chance to vote in the most historic election in my lifetime. The same can be said about doing something about your financial future. If you keep on putting off working on your "retirement" plan, you will one day find yourself wondering, "How did this day get here so fast?"

Whether it is with a program you may see on my page or with something else, please don't keep procrastinating. Get started NOW building your wealth portfolio. For several great programs check out my site at www.howtoearnmoneyfastaneasy.com

Now in addition to doing that, GET OUT AND VOTE! lol :) It doesn't matter WHO you vote for. It does to you personally but in the end, no matter who wins, we will persevere through these financial hardships. It may not be easy but we as human beings adjust and adapt. John McCain OR Barack Obama have their work cut out out for them for years to come. We as Americans will support either one, right!? What would you rather do, leave the country?? No matter how bad we might "think" we have it, there are many countries 10 times worse... or more. Ok..sorry to be long winded.

NOW GO VOTE! Please. You will feel better! :)

Wednesday --- I Need Some Energy!

Hope your day was great. Mine was, I'm just feeling a little low on energy. Don't worry though, I have something that will fix that. My ACT energy drink from M2C Global out of Texas.

I started using this product in 2005 and have not been without it since. It gives me a very good feeling heading out to work every morning and also when I return home from work that evening.

Not often do you find a product that lives up to its expectations. ACT definitely does that for me. I am 155 lbs and what this product does for my well being is phenomenal. I drink coffee occasionally but ACT is my "preferred" drink now because it gives me a better natural burst of energy without the jitters that coffee usually does. PLUS, it tastes great!

Drink it cold. I mix a pack in with a nice 8 oz glass of cold water. I also love the new canned drinks but the packets are a little cheaper. The cans are the way to go though if you don't mind spending a little extra.

Check them out below..... they deal direct with the public so the markup on product is next to none. They are cheaper than those Red Bull drinks and taste a whole lot better!

Tuesday Has Come and Gone

Ok, as I sit here tonight, I have just finished a full days work + playing a joint concert with a local high school jazz band / chorus. You see , among the groups I play with, one is a community band with various aged individuals. We even have some students from the schools sit in with us. It is very cool.

As I sat listening to the school band and chorus perform after we did our thing, I thought back to the days I was in high school. As weird or cheesy as it might sound, it was a good feeling. No worries per se'.... just those of getting your homework done and hanging out with friends. Mom and dad paid all the bills .... it was a great time!! As I continued to listen and think of what all I had done in my 20+ years since high school, I couldn't help but wonder if there was "anything" I would change if I could? For the most part, NO. All things, good OR bad happen for evident reasons I am a firm believer in, however hard it may be to realize that.

With that said, "IF" there was one thing I could change it would have been my investing habits. I was all about cars and music then (and still am to some degree, but wiser ;) ) and investing wasn't as open and free as it is now. Mainly due to the coming of age of this thing we call the "internet". With all the incredible "real" opportunities there are out there, I don't understand why we don't teach investing more than we do. Yes, education is great, please, go to school, earn your degrees, but ALSO learn about this fabulous thing called "investing" and "money management". There are so many real, legit opportunities out there that can really enable you to live a debt-free, stress-free life if you will just take the opportunity and time to study them. Give me my 20 years back and I guarantee you I would be relaxing on the beach right now, whenever I wanted, rather than continuing to do my 40 + hours a week at my local JOB. I shouldn't say all that. I would honestly be doing charitable work helping others and donating more to my church also ...on top of some nice vacations! :)

Enough with the past though ..... these things WILL be coming soon enough for me because I am taking steps NOW to ensure they do. I have studied various opportunities and have several "sound" programs that I am using to build my foundation. Positive thinking and a positive attitude are a MUST but more on that subject in later posts.

I WILL be retired before 65. I WILL make it happen and am already on a great road there. Will you join me? If so and you care to look, please visit my webpage at http://www.howtoearnmoneyfastaneasy.com

Until next post, many blessings,
-D
